Quick and healthy frozen strawberry lemonade

Quite often I feel like drinking a sweet and fresh drink during the day, however I try (*Arnaud tries) to hold me back on the carbonated drinks full of sugar. This quick and easy frozen lemonade does the trick just perfectly while also being full of vitamins.

Makes 2 glasses:

  • 4 lemons
  • 6-7 strawberries, rinsed and hulled
  • Two glasses of ice cubes
  • Sugar or sweetener of your choice (honey, liquid stevia, agave nectar,…), to taste

Squeeze the lemons. In a blender, pulse together the lemon juice, ice cubes, and strawberries into a slurpee like consistancy. Taste it and, if needed, add the sugar or sweetener of your choice, pulse again for a few seconds, and voilà! Drink right away.

Note: for a fun twist, substitute lemons for oranges or grapefruit, strawberries for raspberries or other berries, or add a few mint leaves to the mix!
